Xardraws

Hello and welcome!
I go by Xardraws (or just Xard), and I'm a Chinese American artist who enjoys drawing character art :) I am currently a senior in high school and I make a lot of art for my academic classes, but I love doing sketches and making digital pieces in my downtime.I'm mainly active on Instagram! I enjoy making fanart, but I also draw OCs (original characters) and am currently working on their full designs and references (See the OC Info tab for more).Besides art, I'm also an advanced ballet student (videos on my YouTube) and play classical piano. ANZHONG XU
^{he/him | 22 | Chinese}

Anzhong is the main protagonist of the story. He works in his mother's restaurant by day and spends time at The Claymore by night, frequently challenging people to fights to uphold his high reputation there. Impulsive and arrogant, Anzhong lives a dangerous and independent life. He has a sharp tongue and is very cunning and skilled with weapons and close-range combat from his time working under his father. He seldom builds close relationships with others, not wanting to involve them with his complicated history. Despite his prickly exterior, Anzhong sincerely cares for the few people around him, most notably his mother, companions at The Claymore, and his close friend, Saeyun Cho. He resides in Sector 3 .

SAEYUN CHO

Saeyun (Mainly just goes by "Sae") is a deuteragonist of the story and is a Talents researcher. He is highly intelligent and warm-hearted, but is sometimes taken advantage of and manipulated by others due to his soft-spoken nature. He lives an independent, comfortable life, but the possible applications of his Talent scare him. Because of this, he rarely tells others that he is Talented, though he studies it quite frequently, using himself as his primary test subject for experiments. He values the wellbeing of his friends over himself, often putting himself at risk for their sake. Sae lives in Sector 2, but began spending more time in Sector 3 after meeting and befriending Anzhong.

YUNA YOSHIDA

Yuna is a deuteragonist of the story and is a loyal employee of Aegis, serving as an officer for Strike Division 2. Her confident, ambitious nature makes her a good leader and an efficient worker. Stubborn and confrontational, Yuna has a strong desire for power and works hard to uphold her status as an officer of Aegis. She is incredibly skilled in utilizing her Talent for combat purposes and, alongside her division partner Natsuo, rarely fails her missions. However, she is quite absorbed with her self image and is afraid of disappointing her superiors, often going to great lengths to present herself as competent and strong. She resides in Sector 2.

RIE AKEMI

Rie is a young woman who drives part-time for a food delivery service. Because of her bold, daring personality, she often gets herself into trouble and quite impulsive, always choosing the more exciting option when making decisions. She finds her everyday life rather mundane and tries to find ways to spice it up, like challenging herself to halve the time it takes to drive to a customer’s residence, or picking fights with men twice her size at The Claymore. Despite this, Rie is incredibly selfless and holds her loved ones close to her chest. She resides in Sector 2 but spends much of her spare time in Sector 3, either exploring the streets or challenging regulars at The Claymore.

NATSUO AKEMI

Natsuo is an employee of Aegis, serving as an officer for Strike Division 2. Quiet and cold, Natsuo leads a fairly secluded life both outside and inside of his work. He avoids interacting with others more than is necessary, keeping his seldom conversations work-centric. Because of this, Natsuo has earned a reputation among the officers at Aegis for being incredibly efficient at his job, cayying out missions with deadly skill. Many are scared of him, but those who know him best more often make fun of his awkward attempts to socialize. Natsuo lives with his sister, Rie, in Sector 2 and constantly worries for her well-being and detests her adventurous lifestyle.
